New AltMill-Alarm 2 on GoTo X zero?

Yesterday I squared my machine and today I thought I was ready to start surfacing the spoilboard. I homed it then hit GoTo XY zero and it locked up with alarm 2. Retrying, and it Homes fine, jogs in all directions, GoTo Y zero works fine but gives Alarm 2 for GoTo X or XY zero. This happened after I put the dust boot on and tested that the hose was adjusted ok to go to all corners. The X sensor light has come on faint when going to HOME. I will try moving the sensor closer to the end of the rubber stop tomorrow. But why does it occur when moving to X zero from a position where jogging works fine? Is there something else that could be causing this?

So after more attempts to solve my problem I have found that sometimes after Homing, I can use GoTo XY0 located at the front left edge of the spoilboard and at other times I will get an Alarm 2. After clearing the Alarm 2, I am able to jog 49" toward the front edge and no further. If I then reset XY0 to the center of the X and Y positions on the spoilboard (24" toward the front and 24" to the right) I still cannot jog more than 49 total inches from the homing x position toward the front of the spoilboard. I assume this may be due to the maximum Y movement but I don’t understand why there is an inconsistency after homing or what I need to do to consistently move from the homing position to XY0 at the left front of the spoilboard.
