Hi, I am a newbie to cnc, I bought a new Sainsmart 4040 pro and received it yesterday. I assembled it as per instructions and tried to set it up in Candle, USG and even the free trial of Easel Pro. I know the wiring is good because it moved on all three axis at some point yesterday and today. I designed a simple test in easel but when it comes to the point where you can manually set the home on your workpiece the jog controls dont work and the spindle wont spin up. I know i’ve probably done something daft, I’ve tried soft resets in both Easel and UGS . If you have some advice and can dumb it down for me I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I have never used Candle or Easel, so I cannot comment on their settings. You could try to set up using gSender. The most recent version is 1.4.4.
