Hi, new to Longmill and Gsender and Win11.
Had my Longmill MK2.5 with SLB for a week now.
I have flatted my spoilboard about an hour in I lost connection, tried a couple of times & finally got it finished. Created a grid and had no problems running that. About an hour into my first 3D file and I get a connection error and loose communication to Gsender. When I try to load the same file, Gsender goes to a black screen each time.
So my question is can I connect to the SLB with an ethernet cable and how do I set it up? I am not familiar with Win 11 and can’t find any settings for the USB ports or ethernet.

@Johnny57 Welcome to the group, John.
Here is a link to the technical manual for the SLB. There is a section on connecting using ethernet. Be aware that Sienci has only tested the ethernet connection using a direct connection - no network router.
FWIW, using the original long board and usb, I had more than my fair share of disconnects. Since I have gone to the SLB and ethernet, I have had none. I added a second ethernet card into my pc so that I have one running through my router for access to my home network and the internet and the other connected directly to the SLB.

I am using a USB dongle for my home internet and hoped to use the ethernet port on my computer to connect to the SLB, but I am not savvy when it comes to the settings in win11. How do I set the IP of the port?

I added a powered usb hub, solved the issue.

I used an app from Microsoft called Move Mouse, then I set up the Ethernet connection and it works perfectly.
