AltMill running gSender 1.5.7(?). Today out of the blue, I have no options available in the Spindle drop-down under the Spindle/Laser panel. I have run a laser for months with no problems but now I have lost both the VFD and SLB-Laser device options in the drop down menu. As shown in the accompanying photos trying to select the SLB-Laser option in the SPindle/Laser panel shows no device options available but both the Default Spindle, Spindle 1 and Spindle 2 options are set as they have been for the past many months. As far as I know I have not changed any settings and everything has been working great up until today. I’ve tried resetting these parameters with hard reset of the SLB a few times and no joy. Any thoughts?
OK, well hold off…as quickly as it went away the last restart seems to have restored things. Very confusing…
Yep a good restart solves 70% of my problems and 0% of my bills. Glad your up and running.
Yeah, the thing is I restarted 5 or 6 times before it finally worked correctly. Clearly I did something wrong but what that was escapes me. I guess I’ll take that its working now as a win.
Just a suggestion….. Save your config file! You can always recover if something gets changed. I ALWAYS save it before updating gSender.
