I have a laser and have all the settings correct when I turn on laser on Gsender and turn on the laser I have zero voltage at the output connector no mater where the slider is I’m at a loss.

Members will need more info if they are to help you.
- What CNC are you running?
- If it is a Sience machine, what controller do you have?
- Is your laser module a diode model. If so what model is it?
- How are you measuring the output voltage? If you have $32 on as you should, you will not get any voltage if the machine is not in motion.
- Have you tried to burn any gcode files?
I running it on a Longmill MK2, it uses the SLB, the laser is Lasertree 20 W diode. Measuring the output voltage at this output fitting on the SLB is showing zero voltage at the output connector.
@Wayne3 It should show zero volts if the machine is not moving. Otherwise, the laser would be firing and burning things up while the machine was standing still.

I’m trying to do exactly what is shown in the video clip with the multimeter attached to the laser output but no matter what I do I don’t get any voltage on my meter. The laser is not connected .
@Wayne3 I don’t know what video clip you are referring to.
I am far from expert in this. As I have the same CNC setup and the same laser module as you, I thought that I may be able to help. However, with the information that you have provided, I’ve taken this as far as I can.
I’m sure that others will be able to help you resolve the issue.

No I haven’t I have been in touch with Sienci lab we are working on it but no success yet.
Are you running the stock firmware?
Awhile back I flashed grblHAL, built with the grblHAL web builder, to my SLB on my LongMill Mk1. Everything was working fine until I needed to use my laser. I couldn’t get it working and wanted to proceed with my project so I flashed it back to sienciHAL and my laser worked again.
I don’t know if I missed something in the web builder configuration or the settings somewhere in gSender but I got it working pretty quickly when I switched back.
My laser is 3rd party with it’s own power source and I just need a PWM signal to control the power so I think the setup is probably the same as yours.
Not sure if any of this relates to your problem but I thought it was worth mentioning.

@_Michael That’s good to know going forward, Michael. Thanks for that. I’m running the latest siencihal firmware from Sienci on my SLB running a Mk1 Long Mill. I’m on my second laser module, this one a Lasertree 20w. I have been able to get both of the modules that I have running on the SLB, so I’m confident that @Wayne3 will find a solution.
