Scale tool path issue in Aspire 11.5 to GSender

Looking for some advice please, using aspire 11 and had a tool path created for 3-D file. Decided I wanted to change it (only changed the roughing tool info) and now when I create a tool path from that same file in aspire, it’s making it extremely small. My original dimensions are 21 x 14 by 1 3/4" thick and now it wants to make a tool path that’s half an inch by 7/8 of an inch by .030 thick. I don’t understand I’m using the same file to create the tool path.
I also checked the settings in Aspire for inches not mm and the model dimensions show the correct numbers.

What post-processor are you using? You might have selected grbl mm instead of grbl in.

I’m using GSender and I did check my post processor for inch g-code. Thank you

You may have done this too but make sure everything is set to the same unit of measurement in your cad and gSender.

21mm = 0.826" which is close to 7/8.
14mm = 0.55"
I know you said 1.75" but maybe it was 0.75" and if that is the case then 0.75mm = 0.03"

I’m only guessing here because of the 2 sets of measurements given.

@pconty One thing to keep in mind in your investigation. It does not matter which grbl post you use. I design in VCarvePro in inches. I use the grbl mm post because it creates more accurate gcode, especially arcs. The software handles this. This has been discussed many times on this forum, with advice from members who understand this much better than I do.

When I open the gcode in gSender, it is fine. I have gSender set to mm, too.

@gwilki
I want to make sure I’m understanding correctly

The project will still be displayed with the correct measurements, whether inches or millimeters are used, right? However, using the wrong processor could affect the project’s scale, correct?
