Tried a little more advanced cut. The “painting” for the letters was done with a permanent marker. My hands are not steady enough to brush this. Need more practice on finishing techniques.

@risenbar Looks good, Roger. Another method that you may want to try is to use stick-on masking vinyl. I use inexpensive Mac Tac shelf paper, but there are vinyls out there made specifically for masking. You stick the material down on your piece, cut through it with a V bit, seal the cut grooves with shellac or lacquer sealer, then spray the design. When you remove the “stencil”, you have perfect results.

This is what I done on the first project with Oracle 651 vinyl. Works great.
