SLB Multi day run

Hi I recently upgraded my MK2 30X30 to the from the LB to the SLB. I was wondering what other users do when doing multi day runs.
When I was using the LB when I was done for the night I would pause the program in G-Sender then hit the big red button to turn power off from the controller. Now with the SLB when I hit the stop button the program progress resets back to the beginning. Same thing happens when I turn off the Controller. I am concerned with leaving power on the controller when I am sleeping or away from my shop.
What are other users doing to get around this?
