Made a monogrammed door hanger for my girlfriends office.
@wingwalker77 Welcome to the group, Darian. You make a great first impression.
If you would, please tell us more about this project - software used, material, bits used, feeds and speeds, finishing techniques, etc. I’m not asking for much, am I?
Approximately 18 inches tall. Purchased the base file from Etsy and edited in Carbide Create, controlled the machine with Gsender. 1/4 inch birch ply cut with a 1/8 downcut bit. DPP 0.080, Feed 30 inches per minute, Plunge rate 10, and router speed approximately 17,000 rpm (setting 3 on the Makita). Finished with acrylic paint and glued the layers together with TiteBond. It’ll be displayed indoor, so no protectant finish was applied.
@wingwalker77 Welcome sir! I like your bunny rabbit. Great job! Keep posting projects that you make with your LongMill.
Super cute. Great job.
Thanks for sharing your cutter and toolpath speeds and feeds.
