I think there should be a Community Support section added specifically for FreeCAD.
FreeCAD is making a lot of progress and has a big focus on CAM.
Here’s a Jan 2026 “State Of Affairs” presentation on FreeCAD. You’ll notice one of the first things mentioned is the focus on CAM in the upcoming 1.1 release.
