I would like to suggest you offer 2 leg lengths for the table. Maybe one that is 5 inches shorter than the standard,
Reason:
- For those who want to sit
- When the table needs to be lower for other tools to clear. For example, when the cnc is along a wall with a miter saw and the clearance over the table is necessary for long material on the miter.
An even better idea:
Make the legs adjustable. More flexibility, more universal appeal, and more competitive advantage (?).
I just lowered my legs 5 inches and I think they are perfect for me but I have yet to even run my machine. The table had to be lower than my miter saw for long board clearance.
Suggested implementation: Just provide a two piece leg with a vertical hole pattern that allows vertical adjustment of say 6 inches and fastened together with screws. Provides a single inventory item and very little cost increase for a lot of benefit.
