I am thinking about upgrading to the SLB and the Sienci spindle. Will my laser mount to the spindle as it did with the router? Is it worth the upgrade? Or would it be a better move to upgrade vcarve 11.5 to
12?
For me, having redundancy would be a huge factor to choose hardware over software upgrades. I run my mill having only one LB, and that is a bit low on extra parts.
As far as laser mounting goes. The spindle has a 80mm clamp so it will be replaced. When i look at the productpage, I can see holes at the lasermounting spot in the pictures of the spindlemount.
So I guess, yes, lasermounting is the same, offset will differ.
