This project was stressful but it is done

Well, almost. I wanted to post it before another mishap happens. I need to finish sanding and put some oil or wax finish. It is a little over 2.5 feet tall, 2 feet wide, and at its thickest 2 inches. I made it in two pieces (top and bottom) and milled a pocket on the circle for the scroll with names to fit into. It took 12+ hours for each of the two finishing toolpaths and 6+ for each (2) roughing path. These hours do not count all the mess-ups.

@Swinly , Great work Lonnie, what software are you using to produce that?
Your efforts have paid off.

@Verno Thank you and it was Carveco Maker+

If you wanted to save a whole lot of milling time on the section with the individuals’ names on it, instead of raised letters, you could have incised them using a v-bit. I doubt that anyone would care one way or another if they’re raised or incised… But that’s just my opinion.
Nicely done.

Thank you, you’re doing great, very artistic! Looking forward to seeing the effect after oiling or waxing.
