Two end switches on Y

Will be a good idea if the Home Cycle support double Y end switch, one on each side. This will compensate for any missing steps.
I do use my machine to produce some fixtures and jigs, and the geometry is an important. It’s easy one of the Y motors to miss a step during job setup. Manual alignment is not difficult but sometimes between the event you miss steps and the start of job may pass 20-30 min or more so you may forget that you have missed steps. If there is such an option it will re align during the homing cycle.

I Home to the front left of my MK2 48x30 Longmill. I would also like to have a limit switch on the right Y axis to keep things square Did you get an answer to your desire to do the same?

@dworourke As the original post was 4 years ago, and as the OP has not been back since that post, you may want to look elsewhere for your answer. I did a quick search on squaring and found a recent, detailed thread on the subject.
