Will be a good idea if the Home Cycle support double Y end switch, one on each side. This will compensate for any missing steps.
I do use my machine to produce some fixtures and jigs, and the geometry is an important. Itβs easy one of the Y motors to miss a step during job setup. Manual alignment is not difficult but sometimes between the event you miss steps and the start of job may pass 20-30 min or more so you may forget that you have missed steps. If there is such an option it will re align during the homing cycle.
