Ultimate Altmill Building Issues

So I’m constructing the Ultimate Altmill based on the Sienci files but I’m finding my face boards don’t match the profiles of the legs. Specifically, the angles seem to be off.

• Did anyone else have these issues?
• Did Sienci change the profile of their legs?
• Does anyone have corrected dimensions that work? Fortunately it’s look these are too wide so I haven’t wasted wood…

@acruther @DavidB Yup. The angle on the legs changed from mk1 to mk2. Both versions should now be available from the Onshape files.

You could probably use your existing cutouts for the new profile. Luckily, you need to remove material and not add.

@gremlin Pretty sure this is correct for the front and back. The spacing at the side is different. When I did my plywood stiffeners, I used the drawings. When I went to install them, I noticed a gap between the leg and the plywood at the bottom. Tthis meant the drawings were wrong or the legs weren’t perfectly perpendicular to the table. It turns out it was the legs that were not perpendicular. There’s a lot of racking force at the connectors so it doesn’t take much movement for the leg…

I believe the current version has more holes for mounting the power supply. Those holes aren’t shown in the drawing I linked to.

You are quite right. I actually went back to the OnShape doc and figured this out. Thank you for confirming.
