Completed my first project 2 days ago. This is one of the Gods from Hindu mythology, Lord Ganesha, the god with the Elephant Head. My better-half, being religious, wanted to start off with this one.
Its a V carve using 1/8 in 30 deg bit at 1 in per minute feed at full revs. The workpiece is pine and 8 inch round. Stained after the cut and finished with a polyurethane clear coat. Can share the vector file if any one is interested. Back into CNCing after 16 years!
