Hey fellow CNC’ers
Quick question for the group. Is 10000 the min speed of the spindle ordered with the altmill ? If it can be set lower on the vfd i assume which 00 number does that and what would be the HZ to plug in for 7500. i have a 3 ‘ surface bit that really is a little big for 10,000 rpm.

I have my Altmill spindle set to 7500 to 24000 in the settings.

Can you tell me how you did it ? And when you hit the manual fwd rev does it go to 7500 or 10,000 ?

@Mark_R Your best bet is to read the descriptions of the categories. There is no hard fast rule. You had put yours in the business advice category. Reading that shows that it is for sharing product ideas, how to set prices, etc. That is not what you were trying to do. I moved your question so that it would have a better chance of getting advice and/or replies.
Each of the categories has a brief description of its content. In time, you will not even have to look at those.
