I am just starting out on the first chess piece project and did everything setting like the videos that were produced but have run into a problem. When I went to cut the job it immediately wants to start from Z0 plunging right down and cut my stock right off at the X0. I set Z to axis center as suggested for most accuracy . What setting am I missing so it start safe distance above the stock? Thanks

What CAD/CAM software are you using to generate the toolpaths?
What post processor are you using to generate the gcode?
Vcarve Pro is the Cad/Cam and gsender edge is the post processors
@Robterplan Edge is the gcode sender. What post processor did you choose in VCarvePro when you saved your toolpaths?
