Long time lurker first time poster.
I am trying to hookup an ER16 LDO spindle kit to my mk2.5 longmill. I have the cables ran, vfd powers on and I am able to manually power the spindle on and select RPM. My problem is trying to get the VFD to communicate with the SLB. I have tried all different spindle selections in the settings, and have narrowed it down needing to set up a MODVFD profile… But unfortunately, my simple brain is turning to mush trying to figure out the registers to set in Gsender. It appears that in the Shihlin manual it list the modbus addresses as hexidecimal…
The spindle kit comes with a 220v Shihlin SL3 inverter.
I have tried a rj11 cable from the SLB directly into the VFD as well as making a twisted pair and running it to the A/B pins in the SLB box to pins DA/DB on the VFD
Really hoping that someone here can help me figure out what to set for the registers.
I seem to recall Sienci using the Shihlin VFD for the 220v spindles they were selling at home point.
