A axis only cutting 90 degrees instead of 360

Version 1.4.6 with the SLB. Chess pieces that cut perfect on the old control board with 1.2.2 do not cut correctly now. Instead of rotating 360 degrees the pieces only rotates 90 degrees. Rotary surfacing works as it should, so I do have 360 degree rotation. Is there any settings that need to be changed in the firmware or do I need to make changes is the post processor for version 1.4.6. I tried 2 different files and had the same results. It cuts 1/4 of the piece the full length of the item to the full depth.

Partial rotation would be due to the last-second changing of the microstepping to 1/32 on the SLB. The formula for rotation is: [image] So you’ll need to change your rotary axis value (be it Y for hijack or A for true 4-axis) 2.469 / (1 / 32) = 79.008 You’ll notice this is approximately 4 times the current value (19.753) - which would explain why you’re seeing a quarter turn instead of a full rotation. Thank you. This took care of the issue. I’ve been away from my machine for a month due to a death in the family and today was the first chance to try this fix.
