whenever an error happens, I get two differently styled modals that I have to close, the red error in the bottom right, and the assistant information in the top left.
I do not need two windows for this, and its irritating to close them with a touchscreen.
I recommend allowing the assistant feature to be disabled.
ahh, I will definitely be using the auto dismiss for errors, but it still doesn’t solve the problem that whenever I get a gcode error (often, for some reason, when I start my machine) I get the assistant covering a good chunk of the screen.
My preference would be to be able to turn the off entirely. To me, it’s extraneous when I usually have the console on, and can just google any error I get, if I want that information.
I get how this would be helpful for someone who was new to this though, and I think it makes a lot of sense in that use case, hence my desire for a switch.
