Other than not having a smooth front surface, is there any reason not to pit the first crossbar in with the flange facing forward?
I want to mount a 2020 extrusion under the first section. T-slot on 2nd beam makes it easy to connect to, but because they only have slots on one side mounting to the first beam is harder.
The legs attach to t-slots that are only in the non-flange face.

Sure wish they had put a t-slot on both sides of the cross-beams.

The bottom groove is where the screw goes to connect the cross beam to the rails.
