AltMill Jog Delay

Got our new AltMill connected but there is a ~ 2 second delay between when teh job button is pressed and the axis actually moves??? Any settings we need to check?

Are you connected via USB or Ethernet? If Ethernet, try switching to USB to see if things improve.

I ran into a similar problem and as far as I can recall, in my case it was an IP number configuration issue

I was having a similar problem. I contacted Jason in support. He had me check the following (which solved the problem):

Under the Config tool, under the Advanced motor tab, ensure the step idle delay is set to 255
