Altmill mounting

Is it possible to mount the altmill to an existing bench?

Hi Chris,

Welcome to the forum.
Ig you look at the table setup page, in the assembly guide for the altmill.

You can see that the legs are not essential for the constructuction of the machine. You however have to find a place to mount your slb and e-stop on your own table, that are mounted on the left leg when you use them.

Youll end up with this contraption to fit on your table.

You might need to create some space between this construction and your table because it looks like there’s will not be much space between the xy-gantry and bottom of the y-beams

You don’t want them launching things from your table or flattening your fingers. So, I don’t see why not, but you need to think things through to keep things save. It’s a beast.

I am scared of it.
