My atc spindle claw came off. Now I have no machine to work on. Called sienci can’t get anyone to answer the phone. Been sending emails and really haven’t got me nowhere. sending pictures of the broken part. Takes days to get a reply back. If anyone switch to the atc make sure you keep your original spindle. Because I have to put it back on to get any work done. My atc experience is horrible. Wish I never bought it. Waste of money. The original spindle never had a problem.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I am sure that Sienci will look after you even if it might take a day or two. Unfortunately crap happens sometimes and it is unrealistic to expect an instant fix. If you are using the mill for time critical work then you really need a backup of some kind because stuff does break eventually.
Please keep us posted. I believe this is the first serious trouble I have heard about the ATC and I am sure people would like to know if this is a ‘one-of’ or if there are issues with the ATC.

@Deuce I know that you have said that you called and sent emails, but did you open a support ticket? The website has a specific button for ATC issues. I would bet that will get the quickest reply.

Wait, didn’t you got tne altmill refunded way back early 2025 because it was a week late?

No it came after going back and forth a few times. I was out of the country on vacation. And I live alone so to get someone here to get the altmill was very stressful. If it would came 3 months before my vacation I would’ve had to deal with it.
Yes I opened a support ticket. But not sure where it’s going go from there. I called for help maybe something I can fix myself. But no answer on the phone. Have to put the original spindle back on. That has worked very well. I know when you get to fancy with stuff it’s just more to break. But with my hand problems thought it would make it easier not change bits so often. Glad to hear it’s not a common problem. Maybe mine was assembled on a Friday. Lol. Maybe there is a expert in here that can help

Well I’m happy to have drama. Better than sitting on the couch with nothing to do.
Received my return label yesterday. And I was able to repack atc back in the original box send it back today. Shows it will be delivered Tuesday hopefully I can get it back in a few months. Meanwhile I’m going have to put original spindle back on. Thanks for your help. AP
You will have a replacement in the week following it’s arrival at their location. Sienci doesn’t do ‘a few months’!
