Hello everyone, new member here. I was wondering is this is possible. I’m making shallow square inlay recesses into oak using a 1mm drill at the corners to make them appear square as possible, but they are visibly rounded. The residual material is 0.2mm rounding to zero so the required axial force needed will be minimal (maybe 10-20N). I’d like to peck with it when the spindle is empty. The broach I’d use is just a square end with a spherical indent. Maybe there are some attachment points I could use? Or is there another, maybe spindle based broaching solution I could use?
