Can u carve you own design with v carve

Hi i finally have my machine all setup and solid so im ready to pring some of my designs from v carve can i do that as a trial verson

@Funtimesinthemaritim In the trial version, you can create projects, but you cannot actually carve them. You can carve the test files that Vectric provides, but no others.

Is there a program that i can do this with the trial version

Hello! @Funtimesinthemaritim Not that I am aware of. While it does indeed drain the pocketbook, Vectric makes an amazing software suite. I did hear that they were going to offer a cloud based software. Don’t know anything about it though. Hit their website for details.

I found this awhile back and it looks like the files are still there on Google Drive. This is an older version of Carbide Create, the last version that allowed carving from the free version from what I read.

F-engrave is a simple program that will allow you v-carve an existing design. It used to be a very common tool for hobby CNC users.

For what it’s worth I just tried the Carbide Create and it works, no viruses found. That said it’s not the program I was thinking of. I had Carveco Maker in my head which I think is a more powerful program. I use Vectric so I sometimes get the others confused.

I have also heard good things about F-engrave. I almost suggested it but hesitated because of needing to design in another program.
