Does anyone know if a Carbide3d 80mm spindle can be used in an altmill? And if so, how difficult would it be to make them work together? I have the VFD for it as well.
I recently sold my 4x4 shapeoko for a 5x10 avid. But we are super behind on projects, and I’m debating on adding a 2x4 cnc to help with small stuff, but I have a 80mm spindle sitting around already. The altmill 2x4 is cheaper than the carbide3d C3d.
