Changing measurement scales on the top and left platform tape measures

Newby here.

I use Vetric Pro. The measurement scales are in tenths of an inch. Is it possible to change this to 16th’s? If so how?

@Groucho194 I’ve moved your question to the vectric category. That said, I’m pretty sure that the answer is No. You can change them to millimeters, but that’s it. You may be better off putting the question to the Vectric forum.

FWIW, you can change the grid spacing if that will help at all.

You can type fractions directly into almost any numerical input box (such as size, position, or tool database fields):

Direct Entry: You can type 7/16 and then press the = key. The software will automatically convert it to its decimal equivalent (e.g., 0.4375).

  • Mixed Numbers: For a measurement like 1 and 3/16 inches, type 1+3/16 followed by =.

  • Snap Grid Settings: To make the “snapping” behavior feel more like 16ths, you can set your Snap Grid to 0.0625 (which is (1/16). Go to Edit > Snap Options (or press F4) and set the Grid Spacing to 0.0625
