Does gSender let you define a location where it will go for a toolchange?
I think it will just go to where your touchoff sensor is, which is back left of my AltMill for me, not a great spot.
I’ve reviewed the settings, my suspicion is that it is not possible, but I want to confirm.
If you’re using the tool changing built in to gSender, then the tool change location will be bear the tool length sensor, yes. If your sensor is at the back then I can definitely see how that’d be inconvenient - maybe we can look into a future iteration on this
Hi @greg5 , happy to report that this is now implemented as of the newer 1.6.0 Edge versions and soon coming to the 1.6.0 main release you should now be able to set this value for more convenient tool changes
