no matter what I try to cut I get error code 2-bad number format
@davidnorthcott What machine and what controller are you using, Dave. Frequently, error 2 is shown when someone is running the SLB, but trying to connect with grbl and not grbl Hal as it should be.
I have the longmill and vetric v carve. Using gsender. Thank you for your reply.

@davidnorthcott OK, we’re moving right along. 
Be sure when you connect that you connect to grbl and not to grblHal.
To get it to change to grbl I had to reset to defaults, now I cant even get it to jog or move at all. Im pretty sure I messed up something.
@davidnorthcott You should open a support ticket. I don’t understand your statement about having to set to defaults. There is no reset going from grblHal to grbl. You simply select grbl in the drop down connection menu. With the Long Board, you should not have tried to connect to Hal at all. But, not to worry. It’s fixable.
The support team at Sienci will get you up and running, I’m sure.
