I am getting error 2-bad numbers format with 1.4.9 version. I have no idea what that is. I even deleted gsender and reinstalled it.
Hi Dean,
Your info is a bit spread thin here. You can search the forum for that error and maybe come accross your answer that way.
@Dean Is it doing this with every file you try to run?
Please post the gcode(s) that produce the error.
Thanks for the reply!
Now when I download a file in the upper left hand corner I get machine locked. I don’t know how to unlock it. If I click on the icon for where it says locking I can load a file. But I get the message Error 2-bad numbers format and I cannot jog the machine. I have internet. Is Error 2-bad numbers format the gcode you are looking for?
I did get the machine to move again
Eddy I did do a search to the best of my ability and could find nothing.
Sorry I got your name wrong Eddie
What is error 2-bad numbers format? I have done a search with no results and an advanced search that says not results found. I have deleted the file in surfacing and created a new one with the same error message. The file will run for a bit and then stops like it is not fully loaded.
@Dean Were you able to run this file in previous versions of gSender?
What CAD/CAM application are you using?
What post processor are you using to generate your gcode?
Please post the gcode file.
I got it fixed! What I did was delete gsender. I have an app called everything that shows all the files on the computer. I typed in gsender and it came up with 12 or so files that had gsender in them. I deleted all of them and then reinstalled gsender 1.4.9. Then I made a new surface file. Ran it and no error 2 or any other error showed up. It worked fine.
@Dean It’s good that you figured it out. Weird, but whatever works.
I’ll close the topic.
