Estop Operation Question

First time trying an Estop with GRBL and also with gSender.

When I hit it, the machine stops as expected. Then I clear (reset) the button and I get “waiting for download” in the console. But it does nothing else, just stays at “waiting for download”.

I then have to power cycle the controller to be able to use the machine again.

Why?

I was under the impression that gSender would be able to continue the job from the point the estop was hit. Am I missing something?

Using a MKS DLC32 Max as controller.

@Demus If I understand correctly, you are using the Sienci Estop on a non-Sienci controller. If this is the case, you may get better advice from the controller manufacturer.
