First waste board surface

Curious question…Im fixing to do the first surface with the Sienci ATC. I know how to do a new wasteboard but was wondering something. I can find no instructions doing it after the atc install. Is it as easy as just removing the tool rack and proceeding as advertised? If the tool rack is removed will the spindle still try to avoid the keepout area? Is there something I need to turn off in software to proceed with the operation?

Good point…They told me to just remove the tool rack and the software would automatically sense the removal and remove the forbidden zone. Then just use the waste board procedure as normal.
