G Sender 1.6. Weird Things

Ok a couple of weird things seem to be going on with my Longmill MK II and Gsender. I first boot up the machine and home the cnc I check the distances between the front rails (left and right) to ensure they are equal, next step I always run the machine to the back left and then to the front right to again ensure the machine stay in step. Where the weirdness is the first movement away from front left I use the diagonal button to move it away from the home position (6-12 imches) and then click on the back left corner button, the cnc’s response is to go back to the left front position and alarm when it reaches soft limit left. I then re-home and proceed to go through the same motions and all works as it should after the second homing of the machine.
any guesses as to why it may do this.

Now with the second and new issue once upgraded to 1.6.2 is the auto touch plate, when setup to activate the continuity I get the green check mark when the plate is touched to the bit but the moment the continuity is broken the green check mark disappears. The zeroing process does go on as it should, but shouldn’t the green check mark remain until I click proceed? ( or is my old-timers kicking in and it never did before)

@Bdurdin I can’t address the first issue, but as to the second, the green check mark goes away as soon as you break contact.
