Gcode files size limit?

Is there a file size limit for gSender? Trying to load an 81.7 mb 3d carve finishing file and once it loads and goes to rendering the screen just goes white.

Thanks gwilki. That answers that part of the question. Now to figure out why the file won’t load properly. It’s doing the same thing on two different pcs both running gsender 1.4.10

@CraigHashey You may want to open a support ticket with Sienci.

While waiting, turn on lightweight mode in gS before trying to open the file. Nothing to lose. :grinning:

No love there either. I have opened a ticket with Sienci Labs.

@CraigHashey If you have Dropbox or another cloud storage and want to upload the file, I’ll dowload it to see what happens on my machine.

There is a copy of the file at that google drive link if you get a chance to load it up that would be great.

@CraigHashey I’m not where my gsender pc is right now. I’ll look at it first thing tomorrow morning.

@CraigHashey I tried your file on my LM-connected PC running the SLB and gS 1.4.10. It took quite a while to load, then went to white screen. My PC is old, only 4Gb of ram and on board video. I then tried to open it on a test board that I have in my office. This is an Uno running gS 1.4.9. This PC has 16Gb of ram and a decent video card. Same thing. Then, I tried to open it in ncviwer. It would not open it at all.
I was able to open it in notepad++, just to see how many lines it had. Something in the neighbourhood of 4.5 million lines. Good luck with that. :grinning:
I can’t do any more for you. You can put your question to Sienci tech support, but I’m really not sure what they can do. You may end up needing to divide the file.

Thanks for trying that for me. Do you have any idea of how to divide the file or maybe point me in the right direction? I have found a couple of app that are supposed to do it but they don’t like this file much either.
