gControl trying to talk to the internet

I have recently noticed that my gControl box is trying to talk to the internet. It’s trying a number of different IP addresses.
Anybody know if there is a legitimate reason for it to do so?

Some of the IP’s in question, all from today :

52.123.129.14
184.25.247.11
151.101.22.172
24.244.18.8
20.189.173.22
20.189.173.20
20.42.65.89

You can run the ips through a webpage the likes of the one below, to see whos behind the ips, maybe that will give some hints?

I had actually looked at the IP’s but didn’t make the mental connection that Microsoft is being Microsoft. Some of the IP’s were related to Microsoft but others are unknown.
In any case, I now understand what is going on so my question has been answered and, since everything is blocked anyway, I will not worry about it any more.
