I received my new gControl computer today. After upgrading RAM and installing it on my Altmill I noticed uneven back lighting (I think) on the bottom of the screen. I see 9 darker areas … it looks like back lighting is either poorly designed or defective. Now it isn’t as if these screen areas are really dark but the change in lighting is very noticeable and it will drive me nuts over time even though the computer is quite usable. What is odd is that this is only seen at the bottom of the screen …
I am wondering if anyone else has this issue in which case the issue is systemic … otherwise I have a defective unit.
Looks almost as if the backlight leds are without difusing cover.
Yah, that is not ok, not even for a budget monitor bought at a triftshop, let alone a brand new one like this.
I went ahead and opened a support ticket.
