Waiting for our Altmill to arrive and since Sienci’s spindles aren’t for sale in Canada still, was wondering if anyone has used a Genmitsu 2.2 kW spindle and VFD on an Altmill?

Pretty sure the Sainsmart spindle kit is a n HY with and HY vfd. Chances will be higher asking about HY configuration. I have seen docs that were shared that showed HY settings from Sienci if I am not mistaken.
In case you are interested I have a brand new water cooled 220V 2.2kW HY spindle that I can part with for cheap. I got it for my Gemitsu 6050 but ended up getting a 1.5KW instead because it fits the 65 mm mount that can with the unit.
