I have had this happen a few times now where I use the auto touch plate and probe xyz. Once I load a file and start the job x zero changes to another position and ruins my pIece. If I reload it or try it a couple other times eventually it starts working. Happened with last gsender version as well as the brand new one. What could be causing this? I am now in the habit of doing an outline for the project first which is probably good practice anyway but not sure why this is happening.
@sfontana976 Hello, welcome to the group!
One thing that comes to mind is that maybe the G-code in the file changes the workspace. I think some CAD/CAM packages let you select a workspace that gets included into the file.
So, for example, if your file has a G55 in the setup part and you probed XYZ in G54 before starting, your zero positions had no effect after the G55 line in the file.
Itβs just a wild guess on my part but I think itβs something that can happen.
