Hi, i downloaded gsender like 1.0.5 i think it is, and then thought i would download the updates tried 1.4.11 but i couldnt get machine to move, it was giving me an error 2 bad number error, and locked everything, i couldnt move any of the axes at all, i uninstalled 11, i am watching videos but i do not know what version to download now.
why i wanted to update was because when i tried to zero out the v bit, it was jamming, and the video showed an option of just probing the “tip” but i didnt have that.
What do you suggest to update to, that will still allow the program to work?
I am very new. so this is brain crushing for me

To begin, what machine do you have and what controller are you running?
mk2 30x30 and its the sienci longboard controller, using what was all sent with the 30x30
i just downloaded 9 and it will do the outline and trial run but it willnot let me move the machine to zero it out?
@msyniuk There may be a few things going on here, Michelle.
How long have you had your Mk2? I am asking only because of your reference to gSender 1.0.5, which was issued in March 2022.
When you say that you “downloaded 9”, do you mean 1.4.9 of gSender?
Before you installed that version, was your Long Mill running OK?
I’m guessing that when you installed that, you didn’t rename the config file that was created with your very first installation of gSender. Correct?
You mention that you watched a video that showed the option of probing “tip”. This assumes that you have the Auto Zero touchplate and not the “standard” touch plate. Which do you have?
I had the same problem today with my new Altmill and did not find the solution yet. We may have the same problem. I am just assembling mine and loaded the version 1.4.11 Gsender.
