I am using carve co maker and have verified my cad design through the simulation and everything looks correct. Once the g code is sent to open builds black box, After setting zero with a probe the programme cuts approximately 1/4 “ to deep. Any ideas ?
@Jordan2500 First, welcome to the forum! Secondly, inches to mm is my guess. Make sure everything is in your preferred measurement. Let us know what you figure out!

Are you using the magnetic dust shoe? I was having a similar problem and I discovered that while I was adjusting the height of the shoe I was inadvertently placing my hand on top of the router and pressing down on it. The Z carriage would move down changing the Z zero. I didn’t even realize I was doing it until I saw the belt and pulleys move out of the corner of my eye. Those magnets are very strong.
