I have the LongMill Mk2 48x30 cnc. I purchased the laserbeam laser system as well. I assembled my laserbeam system. Here is the issue, I followed the directions on the online documentation. The power turns on because the red light comes on. However, the Laser emission LED does not come on. I’ve read the online manual on the Sienci site. I have viewed the videos by Scott Saari and I’ve read the troubleshooting tips. I made sure the cables are connected correctly. I made sure the settings in gsender are correct. Made sure that one of the dip switches on the laser driver is at the down position. Can’t figure out what’s wrong. Please let me know what I can do?

When you say that the laser does not turn on, do you mean that when you run your project, it never turns on? Or, do you mean that it does not turn on when it is not moving? If the latter, that it what is should do.
If the former, have you set the firmware settings to laser mode?
What application did you use to create your project?
