List of Shipped Machines

Hey Creighton, I’ll try to get Andy to post some updates as the new materials start showing up.

Demand for the LongMill has certainly increased so we wanted to give ourselves a couple of weeks to take a step back and put some more focus on scalable fulfillment practices. We also ordered Batch 4 parts basically as soon as Batch 3 started going out the door but manufacturing has really been slowed down in the age of the virus. I’m also really excited about how our movement has been going into our new, expanded space! I hope to do another tour video in the near future so that you guys can see all of the exciting stuff that’s been going on behind the scenes this year

How do you guys see what number you are? I ordered 10/23 so I am probably pretty far down but would like to see.

You have to go to the top of the thread. Scroll down and there will be a list of order numbers.

I ordered on Oct 17 and am # 27114 so that should give you an idea of where you stand.

Seeing some units from Batch 4 on the shipped list, does that mean batch 4 is underway with the parts having arrived? Excited to watch the orders ramp up, just waiting to see if I’m going to be 2020 or 2021

Hi everyone, Andy here.

Here is our November production update: https://sienci.com/2020/11/09/november-production-updates/

We are currently waiting on couplers to arrive sometime this week or next to ship the next 50ish machines in the queue. The next 50 to 100 machines will need power supplies to arrive (estimated to arrive at the end of November) to allow us to ship the rest of the backlog.

This is good news. I was starting to think that since I got to number one on the list I broke your production process.

Do you import the couplers or have them made locally. My In-laws run a machine/CNC metal fabrication shop. Maybe get an estimate from them here in Vaughan Ont. 15 minute drive away from me.

Couplers have arrived (one or two days ago) and machines will be packed and shipped out today till the end of this week!

They are made overseas right now, but we can look into some local manufacturing options in the future. We have enough for 1000 machines now so we should be ok for a little bit.

Hey all, I just got that glorious e-mail and had a question. I belive I read somewhere on this forum that you need to create a ups account in order to pay the duty/customs tax for shipments coming to the USA. Could someone verify if that’s the case or is my mind playing tricks on me? TYIA :metal:

I have seen people suggesting that. I just had a notice in my tracking and paid it from the link there. I never created an account. It was really simple.

Agree with Pappy. Mine was delivered and then got an email about a week later. Followed the link and payed with PayPal. Some are getting the email before delivery and some after but you will get one.

I had to pay $83.00 at time of delivery

Thank you all for the replies. I got an e-mail earlier today asking to pay the duty tax so the shipment could proceed.

Hello all, I see that in the last days, the Sienci team is rapidly delivering backlog orders…approx. 18 orders per day . This is great news although for my order, a bit worrying as it will be delivered to Austria but I won’t be there until a couple of weeks before Xmas (I took the 6-8 weeks delivery time into consideration when I ordered…didn’t expect it to be quicker as there were over 100 orders before mine). For those of you who live in Europe, and have received your order, can you let me know how long it took between when you receive the shipping confirmation, and when the machine actually arrived. This will help me with organising who the courier should deliver the big package to, thanks for any help anyone can give, Cheers.

Hi Pete,

Patrik with Operations here. European shipments are shipped using UPS Expedited service, we find it usually takes 5-7 days for delivery to Europe. If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to send me a private message.

Power supplies and other parts have arrived!

I will post a new update once we have checked through all the parts if the lead times can be updated.
