Longmill router plate

I’m doing some surfacing and I’m getting uneven results. My gantry is level, but my router plate is not. I can’t seem to find how to adjust this. Any suggestions?

You may be able to loosen the bolts that hold the plate on and level it while tightening them back up. The are super hard to reach on the MK1 with the old rail design but it ‘looks’ like they might be more accessible on the MK2.

Just took a look at your last photo and I guess its not just the router mount that is off? I would check to see if the linear rails are vertical. If not there may be some play in the mounting bolts for them, I’m not sure. There may also be some play that you can use for adjustment on the bolts that hold the linear bearings to the plate. With the exception of the wheels and anti-backlash blocks the ‘bolt slop’ as I call it is about the only way to adjust things.

If you do have to mess with the linear rails be careful because if the bearings come off the rail the balls can fall out and be a bear to reassemble. So just loosen things but don’t take them apart IMHO.
