Thanks for the heads up on the motors. Not sure it’s necessary but with the talk of scrapped material costs the seemingly easy idea of putting closed loop motors came to mind as a way to potentially reduce that. I will bite the bullet and look for a track add on for a circ saw, not as nice of an option but should do the trick for now. Either way I pulled the pin last night and made the order. Now to find the time to start getting supplies and a table built!
For software, consider looking at fusion360. The personal edition is free and is incredibly powerful. I cant speak for the others but i am super impressed with fusion.
