Howdy! I’ve been using a mid-high end laptop the last year or so to model designs and then connect to the controller to run gSender. However I worry about dust accumulation inside and expensive laptop. Does anyone have a recommendation for a cheap mini PC or similar that would run gSender without the risk of dust accumulation? I know Sienci is releasing something to do this soon but I was hoping to get this done for ~$150 or less. Already have monitor, mount, and other items. Just looking to find a good cheap option to run gSender in the shop - I still intend to do design work on the laptop.
Thanks!
Tim
Really any fanless NUC or mini PC should work if you are only wanting to run gSender. You can usually find them on FB Market or Ebay for $150 or less.
Would need minimal requirements 8GB, small SSD, and Celeron from the last 8 years.
For now, have you considered using the ethernet port/cable to connect to the SLB (assuming you have the SLB) and wifi for the laptop? You should be able to relocate the laptop quite a few feet away using this method.

Add in a wireless keyboard and/or an old tablet running as remote and the laptop can be bannished into another room.
The hardware is there, its work around time.
