If your interest is just CAM, and you already have the model/design, then DeskProto works on Windows, Mac, and Linux. It will let you do a fair amount of stuff, multi-axis (>3) even, and if you don’t have commercial needs, there’s a “hobbyist” license that gets you the big kahuna version for ~quarter-price. There’s also a less-capable free version.
Although I’m also massively happy to see the lightburn folks getting involved, even more so that they’re getting the same table as I’ve ordered 
Given LB works on the Mac, I’m hoping (expecting, going to pop over and check it out) that MillMage will too
