What’s better; to mount the longmill to the table so that the spoilboard surface will start 3/4s above the longmill feet? Or, to mount the longmill so that it’s feet are level with the top of the machining bed?

I have a similar question, what if one wanted to mount the MK2.5 3/4” above the spoil board (using another piece of MDF), this would obviously more clearance, does anyone see any issues with this?
@rnsbr That has been discussed here before. The only downside that has been described is that, especially when using 1/8" mills, you may not be able to cut through material on your spoilboard. You may need to use a second “spoil board” to raise the material high enough.
Thank you gwilki, that certainly makes sense. I was thinking that I could use the left side as a fence also.
