ncSender — Finally Ready for Public Try! 🚀

Alarm for 14 spindle timeout,

What is your $395 and $539?

If you spindle doesn’t support at-speed, those 2 needs to be non-zero. Put 6 or 7 seconds to be safe.

Changing these value require rebooting your controller to take effect.

Also, one way to know if you VFD support at-speed, is when you spin your spindle

the speed display should almost close, mine is 4008 / 4000, {actual}/{requested}

@siganberg
Remenber that I use SienciHall, i dont have a 539 and #395 is default spindel (Hyanyang)
If I set a m3 s7500 it shows 125hz and so on, that is correct up to 24000rpm, at 24000 i get a Alarm 14. I can go up to 22000rpm without the alarm 14 error.
For the VFD everything is set as it should.
As for the door problem, it still percist. Everything locks in NC and gsender, so I can’t do anything.
So as for now I have to manually shorten the two pins on the board.
It was a error that came all of a sudden, thats why i contacted Sienci.

I need the spindle display screenshot when you run the M3 Sxxxx.

Also I highly suggest to start exploring switching your firmware to grblHal firmware. sienciHal firmware is kinda outdated.

@siganberg

I can send you the log if you want?

Quick question, what would be the best board to run this on? Currently running Mach3 with 5 drivers, 2 for Y Axis.

@IainSanderson If you’re specifically asking about ncSender, I believe it has been developed and tested only for Sienci’s SLB-EXT controller.

FWIW, ncSender is not written or supported by Sienci. gSender is the control software from Sienci.

ncSender’s developer (@siganberg) is active on Facebook (Francis Creations if I remember correctly) and YouTube, where he describes the features ncSender.

It should work well with any grblHAL device running a more modern version of the firmware :+1: - but yes, Francis is super active on discord as well if you’re looking for opinions on controllers.
